I started taking a greater interest in photography because I slowly found myself going forwards in life and I didn't want to leave anything behind. I want to be able to keep a record of the memories I experience because I know that one day I'll want to look back on them and feel the nostalgia of the good old days when I was free to do what I want.
I don't have a really great camera but it is slowly becoming my pocket friend.
This above is me wearing a somewhat interesting pinny while helping my girlfriend do a spot of baking. It isn't the best picture that has ever been taken of me but I'll still keep it around. It was a really fun time for me and I can look at that picture and smile because it brings back so many memories of the day and I can talk passionately about it.
In honesty now, I look back on my life so far and frequently feel a sense of regret, there are many things I should have done differently but didn't and I'll not be able to fix that. I hope that by taking photographs of some of my better memories I can take those forward and progress with a smile.
Here's another embarrassing one to say the least, but it is of one of my proudest accomplishments. At 3300m at the top of Big Chimgan, Uzbekistan. I never thought I'd get even half way up it but everything worked out in the end.
