This is me, Tim. I'm currently really enjoying my photography and like to use them to make the world seem like a happier place, either through highlighting a beautiful area of the world through the medium of video or telling a true story behind a photo that I've taken somewhere around the world. I wanted to write a post that explained exactly what each part of this blog was and so you have an explanation for what each bit is.
I hope that was a coherent sentence.
Let's start from the top. The little buttons you see at the top can be pressed and when they are, they will take you straight to my other sites such as my Facebook, Youtube, Instagram and Flickr among other things. Some of those buttons take you to the home page of the blog and the reason for that is that I am not on those things as Tim Pockney Photography.

If you hover over this bit of the menu bar just below the title of the blog it will give you a drop down list of all the social media sites that I'm on, making it a bit easier to find out where you can follow me for updates!
Beautiful Places
Clicking on here will give you all of my blog posts where I highlight the beauty of an area using a video made up of some music that I hand picked and some of the best photos that I took at the time. It's meant to be relaxing and show you what you can see there, maybe even inspire you to visit!
The Story Behind The Picture
Clicking on here will take you to all the blog posts that I have written to tell a story. In these posts I will take a picture that I have taken somewhere around the world and use it to tell a true story, based on something that will be found in a picture. For example, in post #2 - Rejuvenation, I spotted how the bench in the picture was worn out, so I talked about how Blackpool used to be the biggest holiday destination in Europe until it slowly stagnated.
Other Projects
By clicking on this you will find my posts about the times when I go more free roam with my photography. Sometimes I will be asked to take pictures at events or want to go and take pictures of something out of my own free will. This is where all of these posts will be found. I might make a video or simply just write about what I did with the odd one or two pictures. It depends what the project that I embarked upon suits.

By clicking on here you will find my blog posts where I do a bit more writing and explore varying topics using photography to help to depict my ideas.

By clicking on here you will be taken to my Flickr account. This is where I will keep albums of watermarked photos that you can look at. Hopefully you will enjoy them!

By clicking on this you will be taken to my shop that I have set up. On here I will provide a selection of photos that you can buy. They are available for just 50p each and if you purchase one, I will email you an unwatermarked copy as soon as I can for you to use with whatever you would like. I will change them around every now and again unless I decide to upgrade. I hope that you find a few pictures that you really like and would like to buy because it really helps me be able to do more with this site.
